“ Relatively new to the neighborhood, the owners and staff go out of their way to welcome everyone. Their authentic Jamaican food with a local twist is great. Try the plantains and jerked shrimp. Somewhat of a bar feel, with limited seating right now, but it's obvious they're still getting organized, so I'd expect the place to evolve over time. Could use real silverware and better napkins inside, but still a great place for a friendly adventure visiting Jamaica. ”
“ I ordered on Uber Eats because they weren’t rated bad and are open late. Then while waiting on my order checked Google and saw the first review and was horrified the whole time I waited on my food to arrive. Didn’t want to waste the money so I took a chance on life. Fast forward. After thoroughly inspecting my food and praying I didn’t have the same experience. I must say it was some of the best Jerk Chicken I’ve ever had. I pray that the insect problem was a one off situation and things have been corrected because it would be a shame. ”

“ Hello today i went to Hillside for lunch me and my daughter around 1p.m , it wasn’t really busy , the workers were really friendly. But to the main event the seafood omg i had the eschovich fish if thats how you spell it , it was soooooooooo goooddd , i had to order one to go ... it does take a while to prepare because its made fresh , but it’s worth the wait, honestly kudos the chefs ... I will be back and if your looking for a good ja spot you just found it ”

“ Omg why nobody told me about this hidden gem , i ordered the oxtail with cabbage it was sooo good !!! Give it a try definitely in the top 3 best spots , i have been on a hunt for a good restaurant spot since i moved here from New York , so you can only imagine what i have been going through. And i was at a local bar , when i ordered from here and boy was i impressed . Next time i will try the goat and see whats up with it . ”
“ The small little Belmont neighborhood tucked between Plaza Midwood and NoDA gained another amazing restaurant. Only steps away from Ace No 3 and Bottle and Bloom, you can now get authentic Jamaican food. We have been twice in the last 2 weeks because the food and service is just that good. The jerk sauce is out of this world. The cabbage and greens are flavorful, the Mac and cheese is juicy and the Patties are to die for! I tried the curry chicken and the beef Patty and I couldn’t tell you which one was better. They also have a back patio and a popular take out counter. Add this delicious new place to your list of places to eat! ”
